Who Are STA and How Can We Help You?

Safety Training Awards is an awarding organisation which offers and certificates vocational qualifications across a range of disciplines. These qualifications are designed to meet both legal requirements and national occupational standards for various industries, providing you with the confidence and reassurance to develop your career professionally.

Whether you’re an emergency responder, a childminder, a parent or a responsible member of staff, we offer a range of qualifications to suit everyone’s needs – from our comprehensive three-day First Aid at Work to our specialist five-hour CPR & AED qualification – there’s a course for everyone!

Once You’re Qualified

First aid courses are a fantastic stepping stone for other careers, such as nursing, emergency medical services and childcare.

STA also offer several resources and CPDs to keep you up-to-date with changes in first aid, including annual refresher training.

It’s also important to remember your expiry date, as you will have to renew or retake your qualification before it runs out to ensure that you remain a qualified first aider.

By completing my First Aid at Work qualification, I feel confident that should I need to use any of the skills I had learned on the course, I could do so correctly.

I feel proud knowing that I’m responsible for my colleagues should they experience an injury or accident at work, and I would recommend that anyone who can attend a first aid course, of any type, does so.
