Designed for swimming teachers who are helping support swimmers looking to transition into open water swimming by teaching basic open water swimming techniques.
Swimming teachers will be permitted to teach open water swimming skills in a learn to swim environment in a swimming pool. Swimming teachers will not be qualified to coach open water swimming in open water. They would need to complete the STA Open Water Swimming Coaching qualification in order to do so.
