Qualification Extensions – Update

Safety Training Awards can confirm that the Regulators are happy to accept certificate extensions, as detailed by the HSE for first aid, for all our other regulated qualifications – this includes swimming teaching, lifeguarding, health and safety and pool plant (see full list here).
In all cases, certificates that expired after 16 March 2020 can remain valid until 31 October 2020 or 6 months from date of expiry, whichever is later. For example: If a qualification expired on 1st May 2020, they would have until 31st October 2020 to requalify, if a qualification expired on 20th July, they would have until 18th January 2021 to requalify.
Anyone wishing to apply for the extension, please email qualificationdevelopment@safetytrainingawards.co.uk attaching a copy of your certificate if at all possible.
