STA Pool to Open Water Swimming CPD Webinar

STA is pleased to announce the launch of the STA Pool to Open Water Swimming CPD is now available as a webinar recording.
Designed for swimming teachers who are helping support swimmers looking to transition into open water swimming by teaching basic open water swimming techniques. Swimming teachers will be permitted to teach open water swimming skills in a learn to swim environment in a swimming pool. Swimming teachers will not be qualified to coach open water swimming in open water. They would need to complete the STA Open Water Swimming Coaching qualification in order to do so.
STA’s brand ambassador and Open Water Swimming Tutor Adam Comfort hosts the CPD, which covers pool setup, open water equipment, and an introduction to open water swimming skills.
On successful completion, learners will be issued a certificate of completion and gain ½ a CPD point.
