First Aid Resources

STA would like to confirm important changes to some of its first aid resources.
With all new purchases of STA first aid manuals, you will receive an update sheet which contains information on the following subjects:
- Collapsed lung/sucking chest wound
- Diabetes – treatment of low blood sugar
- Updated sequence for CPR
- Treatment of bleeding
- Haemostatic dressings (new topic)
- Tourniquets (new topic)
Additionally, the course presentation and end of unit worksheets for our two-day Paediatric First Aid Award qualification are available to download from STA Online’s tutor resources area. There is no longer a portfolio for this course. The course manual is available from the STA Swim-Shop.
