Safety Training Awards is pleased to announce that the STA Level 3 Award in Education and Training and STA Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice qualifications are now available for registration by approved training centres.

In order to offer these qualifications through your ATC, the centre co-ordinator will need to provide evidence of competent human resources to deliver, assess and internally quality assure these qualifications.

The qualifications can be offered as face-to-face courses or via distance learning—however it must be the generic Education and Training or Internal Quality Assurance syllabus delivered, and not be specific to Safety Training Awards’ requirements.

ATCs will be responsible for marking assignments, the ongoing support and internal quality assurance of these qualifications if they offer them.

To support ATCs, Safety Training Awards will provide:

• STA Study Skills Guide, to support learners with their written assignments
• Qualification study book (this includes the units and assignment criteria)
• Qualification textbook
• Qualification specification
• Qualification assessment strategy.

If you would like to offer the STA Level 3 Award in Education and Training or the STA Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice as part of your centre’s suite of qualifications, then please send your Centre Administrator evidence that you have the appropriate qualification to deliver, assess and IQA the qualifications.
